Porte Aux Mondes had once been a young woman who had been obsessed with aliens, who thought there were ways to travel to other worlds. Of course, people laughed at her, ridiculed her, and pushed her to the breaking point.
As an Akuma, she opened portals and shoved people into them. But no one came back out, so the heroes didn't know what the portals did yet, or where they went. Porte Aux Mondes created a portal right under Ladybug as she was dropping from a rooftop. Chat was able to knock her clear, but... of course he fell in himself.
He would drop for a long time, back down, nothing but darkness on either side, and he'd fall so long even the portal he fell through would cease to shed light. But the falling would feel more like floating slowly down. After what would seem like hours before the darkness would give way to a blue sky with just a few soft clouds. There were no tall buildings, so he'd still be falling without seeing anything for a bit, and h'd hear voices before he'd see anything other than sky.
"Now, Greg," a male voice said.
"Got it, bro!" Greg - presumably - said. "Float!"
"I think he's already floating," another voice said dryly.
"Yes, but now I can do this." Chat would feel himself pulled as if a gentle hand was at the back of his neck, guiding him into a waiting chair. There was a man with a walking stick standing there, smiling at him, some of his teeth were fake, but looked decent for fakes. On his shoulder was an orange cat. There was a slightly younger redheaded man grinning at him as he landed, looking a bit smug. "Guess not all cats land on their feet after all." Then he looked to the ever so slightly older man. "It must be so cool to be you, Bro."
"Generally is," he said with a nod, leaning both hands on his cane. "Greg, go get Luna, then head to the healing house."
"Um, hello, obvious super villain or superhero drops from the sky, no way, I want to stay here!"
He glanced at his younger brother. "A few idiots are about to think that since Dex can't be healed magically, they can take him out so that there isn't enough of a police force to stop their buddies from going on a crime spree," he said, blandly.
"Then I should be helping Dex! We both should be."
The man grinned a bit. "Oh, Dex will be just fine, but the punks will need some help, and I'm sure Pam would appreciate the assistance."
Greg twitched, then heaved a sigh. "Fine, but you're calling me if he turns out to be some mega villain. All that black leather either he's a bad guy or - "
"GO!"
"Going," Greg said with a cheeky grin. He winked at Chat. "Welcome to Barthis." he jogged off.
The man sighed slightly. "As Greg said, Welcome to Barthis, Chat Noir. I'm Dominic Deegan. This is Spark. And this.." He reached behind him and held up a brown paper lunch sack, "is for you."

Well, honestly, he has expected none of this, for several moments, he sits stock still, ears straight up, tail still, eyes wide as he just kind of....takes it all in.
He blinks at the lunch bag, looking down at it. Then everything finally registers. "Are people in trouble?" He asked, reaching out to take the bag tentatively.

Spark jumped off of Dominic's shoulder to land either on Chat Noir's legs, or if he moved them out of the way in time, on the seat. "That has got to be the cheesiest welcome gift ever," he said with an eye roll. Then he looked at Chat. "I told him to give you fish..."
