Yes, the man who just came out of the welcome bay was most certainly wearing a shockingly pink jacket. Under it, he had been wearing a black shirt, but now hit was over one arm to show off the odd looking tattoo over his whole chest. A Kelsheen mark. Never knew when it would be useful. He had his axe in one hand. He was ready to shred, if he could find someone to jam with.

Yeah, the man had just been kidnapped. He looked remarkably calm about it, in fact, he seemed almost cheerful. He found a seat after a bit, pulled his axe into his lap, and then started playing, watching people to see who might come near, and figuring out who he could ask for more information than the projection had given him.

Question number one being.... where was Miranda?

Greg chuckled and dropped his hand. "They're called vocal chords for a reason, my friend. Speaking is making sound by using air flow to vibrate them. Singing is doing the same thing the way drawing is moving a pen across paper. It is changing something from mechanical to art. But at the base... you know the skill already. You know how to speak, you have an ear for music, you know how stringed instruments work. Singing is adding breath control and putting that all together. And breath control can be learned."

"I never really thought about that before. I'm not really sure I can...I mean, I don't know where I'd start and it's not like people around here offer that kind of thing."

He gestured at Genessia with a mild shrug.

"You've got me, and I'm willing to teach if you want to learn."

"Yeah? Let me think about it. It kinda makes me nervous." He flushed.

"Sure. No pressure, man. I figure we probably have a while till I'm out of here anyway."

"Oh yeah obviously." He laughed, grinning at him. "Right. Singing just seems like something else altogether."

He nodded. "The way a flute or a piano seem different from the guitar, but at the end of everything... it's music." He grinned. "Back home, I've met the Maestro. He uses lightning to play music."

"Lightning? Huh. I have a..." Demyx hesitated. What was he supposed to refer to Larxene exactly? Some crazy bitch didn't seem too appropriate while they were playing nice.

"...friend? She uses electricity." No, he wouldn't consider them friends, but that seemed passable.

"So she's another great conductor! Cool."

"I don't think she's musically inclined. She's...uh...always angry."

[gregorydeegan]

"Huh. Well that's a bit shocking. Has she considered the drums? For getting rid of aggression, they can't be beat."

He laughed at the puns and shrugged helplessly. "I honestly have no idea."

"Well let's ask her, if we band together, we could form a band!"

"I...yeah, I mean I could I guess?" He wasn't sure how Larxene would react if he asked her to play with him.

"Great, so we've almost got enough then. Now we just need a keyed up headliner who think's he's hot stuff on the keys, and a drummer who can't be beat!"
