Yes, the man who just came out of the welcome bay was most certainly wearing a shockingly pink jacket. Under it, he had been wearing a black shirt, but now hit was over one arm to show off the odd looking tattoo over his whole chest. A Kelsheen mark. Never knew when it would be useful. He had his axe in one hand. He was ready to shred, if he could find someone to jam with.

Yeah, the man had just been kidnapped. He looked remarkably calm about it, in fact, he seemed almost cheerful. He found a seat after a bit, pulled his axe into his lap, and then started playing, watching people to see who might come near, and figuring out who he could ask for more information than the projection had given him.

Question number one being.... where was Miranda?

"Yep. Almost as much to play a name as an axe. Alright, so since we jammed through the talking spell, mind filling me in on where we are and why it needs my stylish good looks and swinging tunes enough to kidnap me when I was on my way to Lynbrook?"

"You're in Genessia." He waved his hand around.

"But I don't know why you're here. I don't even know why I'm here. Sorry." He chuckled weakly.

"Where's Lynbrook?"

"Not here," he said with a shrug. "Though if you meet a girl who likes breaking things with her face, maybe this is Lynbrook after all." He missed Rachel. "I don't even mind so much that the bookmark took me to the wrong site, but it didn't take Dex.....Oh. Dex." He face palmed. "That would be why the spell failed."

"I don't know what any of that means." He laughed.

"I've never met her, but I'll let you know if I do! I'm on the lookout for a few people now."

"Well, she's hard to miss. She'll be either breaking things with her face, or trying to give everyone makeovers."

He missed Rachel. He did not miss her idea of fashion.

"No one's ever tried to give me a makeover."

This may have been hard to believe considering his entire outfit screamed 'black'.

[gregorydeegan]

He laughed. "Well, she would. And her favorite words are butt-less chaps," he warned. "Despite that, she's my best friend."

"But then you'd see my butt." Demyx blinked. "I don't think you can wander around outside in that."

That was the problem he had with it, not the style itself.

"I think that's her point."

No, he was still puzzled. He scratches his head.

"Yeah, but why would she want to?"

[gregorydeegan]

"Same reason she wants to break thing with her face, or used to date my big brother?" he asked with a shrug. "Rachel Hart is weird. I don't try to understand her, I just love spending time with her."

[melodiouspacifist]

"Hn, girls are weird." He nodded in agreement to his statement. "Apparently all girls."

[gregorydeegan]

"Pretty much..." he agreed with a grin. Rachel. Luna. His mum. Pam.....

His face fell. Pam.

Tears followed.

He wasn't even aware he had started to cry softly. He missed her already....

Oh. Oh no. The guy in front of him was crying and Demyx froze. What was he supposed to do? What was the normal thing to do? Why was he crying?

He looked visibly uncomfortable, fidgeting a little as he tried to think of something to say.

He chewed his bottom lip.

Demyx stepped forward and reached out. He pat his arm once. "Um...there there?"

Okay, Greg was heartbroken, and reminded of why and on a low but.... but that was downright comical. It was. And he was Donovan Degean's son. Tears still on his face and in his eyes, he bust out laughing. He couldn't help it.

"Where where?" he gasped out, holding his sides from the humour.

[melodiouspacifist]

"Huh. Not...what I was expecting but it still worked." Demyx confessed with a grin.

"Don't cry, I don't know what to do with that."

[gregorydeegan]

He pushed at his tears, trying to get his breath back. "Don't...know what to do with crying?" he asked, perplexed.

[melodiouspacifist]

"Uh yeah. I don't know. I remember being the one crying when I was little but I don't know what to do with...you crying." He looked mildly uncomfortable.

[gregorydeegan]

He sniffed a bit. "Generally when a friend is crying... let them. Offer a hug if they need it, listen if they need it, and then cheer them up when they're done. You just... kind of skipped to the end there...." a beat. "there."

[melodiouspacifist]

He snickered a little bit because, well, he had a sense of humour, even if Greg was teasing him a little.

"Oh. A hug, really?" That would be strange, wouldn't it?

Greg nodded. "Yeah, though hugs with a crying person tend to be a bit one sided. Mostly the downside..." because someone sad sees the downside of things. get it?

[melodiouspacifist]

"...Huh?" No, not that one, that time it went over his head.

"I don't think I'd...do that. Nobodies don't hug."

[gregorydeegan]

"Your arms are broken and they only work when you play music?" he asked, arching his brows at him.

[melodiouspacifist]

"No, they're not broken, it'd just be...weird. We don't do that."

[gregorydeegan]

"Why?" Why would it be weird, why don't you do that, why is the sky purple. Really, that why could have meant anything.
