Yes, the man who just came out of the welcome bay was most certainly wearing a shockingly pink jacket. Under it, he had been wearing a black shirt, but now hit was over one arm to show off the odd looking tattoo over his whole chest. A Kelsheen mark. Never knew when it would be useful. He had his axe in one hand. He was ready to shred, if he could find someone to jam with.

Yeah, the man had just been kidnapped. He looked remarkably calm about it, in fact, he seemed almost cheerful. He found a seat after a bit, pulled his axe into his lap, and then started playing, watching people to see who might come near, and figuring out who he could ask for more information than the projection had given him.

Question number one being.... where was Miranda?

Alright, this was more than a little weird. The redhead came out of the entry area, looking around. Thankfully he was holding his axe when he had vanished from his home and woke up in that pod. He would have said it was in-pod-sible, but no one was around to hear it, so he saved it for later. He came out and looked around, pushing his redhair back off his forehead, looking around. "Alright, I guess this is out of this world. Or out of mine, at least."

He ambled over to the hologram and listened. When his feet got sore, midway, he crossed his legs and floated on the air pulling his guitar into his lap as he listened, strumming a tune to be the backdrop to the words spoken.

The redhead caught his attention with the music and instead of introducing himself, he summoned his sitar and played along. Demyx didn't know the song, but he had a good ear and could keep up with the best of them.

He wasn't sure if the guy would know what a sitar was, but he thought their individual sounds would blend well together.

He had been making it up as he went along. But hearing someone join in, he grinned... and picked up the pace. He didn't look for who it was, he just sent out a musical invitation to come play.

Nothing could keep the grin that pulled at his lips, because an invitation to play and a challenge was just perfect. He was more than ready for it.

Although this stranger picked up the pace, he kept up just fine, fingers moving over the strings with expert timing.

Sweet! Someone keeping up with him. He closed his eyes, and shifted chords.

There was nothing better than a good, musical challenge. The stranger was pretty good, but Demyx was confident he was better. He had a decade of experience to lean into. He could do it.

He grew up as the son of Donovan Deegan. He was playing music since before he could stand. And it helped him through a lot of the times he went back to being unable to stand. His music helped save Barthis. IT was on! He changed up the tempo... and the pitch. While still making it sound like part of the same song.

That was pretty great, honestly. It was rare he got to bust out his more skilled moves and instead of just answering the challenge, he pushed his talents to the limit, the melody he was playing a very quick string of musical notes.

Greg picked up from where Demyx went, and joined in, and then raised the bar. He started singing. No real lyrics, just matching his voice to the music, and he has a GOOD voice. He was having fun, and you could easily tell.

He played, just barely keeping up, but he wasn't really about to start singing. Demyx wasn't terribly confident about his singing abilities, honestly.

He did however laugh a little and give up, clapping and bowing.

"Alright! You win!"

He grinned and hopped down as if he had been sitting on a seat, rather than the air, turning to face him. "We both won. We had fun rocking out, after all." He swung his ax on it's strap so it rested on his back and offered a hand. "Gregory Deegan."

He laughed and shook the hand.

"Yep, it was fun, I like it. I'm Demyx." He smiled, nothing more than respect for Gregory.

[gregorydeegan]

"Demyx. About fifteen puns off the name alone and not a one of them suited for a public venue," he said with a grin. And realized that meant he was growing up. Well... that was depressing. Maturity. Ew.

[melodiouspacifist]

He blinked at him. "Really?"

He was trying to think if he could think of even one.

[gregorydeegan]

"Yep. Almost as much to play a name as an axe. Alright, so since we jammed through the talking spell, mind filling me in on where we are and why it needs my stylish good looks and swinging tunes enough to kidnap me when I was on my way to Lynbrook?"

"You're in Genessia." He waved his hand around.

"But I don't know why you're here. I don't even know why I'm here. Sorry." He chuckled weakly.

"Where's Lynbrook?"

[gregorydeegan]

"Not here," he said with a shrug. "Though if you meet a girl who likes breaking things with her face, maybe this is Lynbrook after all." He missed Rachel. "I don't even mind so much that the bookmark took me to the wrong site, but it didn't take Dex.....Oh. Dex." He face palmed. "That would be why the spell failed."

"I don't know what any of that means." He laughed.

"I've never met her, but I'll let you know if I do! I'm on the lookout for a few people now."

[gregorydeegan]

"Well, she's hard to miss. She'll be either breaking things with her face, or trying to give everyone makeovers."

He missed Rachel. He did not miss her idea of fashion.

"No one's ever tried to give me a makeover."

This may have been hard to believe considering his entire outfit screamed 'black'.

[gregorydeegan]

He laughed. "Well, she would. And her favorite words are butt-less chaps," he warned. "Despite that, she's my best friend."

"But then you'd see my butt." Demyx blinked. "I don't think you can wander around outside in that."

That was the problem he had with it, not the style itself.

"I think that's her point."

No, he was still puzzled. He scratches his head.

"Yeah, but why would she want to?"

[gregorydeegan]

"Same reason she wants to break thing with her face, or used to date my big brother?" he asked with a shrug. "Rachel Hart is weird. I don't try to understand her, I just love spending time with her."
